Another wonderful week of blogging behind us. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did? As usual I want to round it off with my second favourite topic after crowns and tiaras, state portraits.
This shot is of the Crown Prince Imperial's Aunt, Her Imperial Highness, the Princess Augusta of the United Empire of Scot-Britania. It was taken in 2010 at her own cost to mark her Birthday and to record her in her prime for posterity. She wears the "Princess of the Blood" Tiara from the Crown Jewel Collection. It was made specifically for the purpose of being worn by the closest female relative of the Emperor other than his wife or mother. As such Princess Augusta has the right to wear it until the Crown Prince Imperial has a daughter. In the top right is the Imperial Crest and the Princess also wears the Red Sash and Cross Badge of the Most Noble Order of the Diamond Star.
I'm looking forward to a smooth week of governing the Principality of Swann, an efficient week of jewellery production and another fun week of blogging.
I am impressed by the Royal Crest.
