Wonderful Weekends (State Portrait Princess Draculesti)

Last week's blog on the Animal Sanctuary must have tired me out so much that I neglected my usual "State Portraits at the end of the weekend" post. I do believe that today's portrait will make up for it as it is one of the most grandiose to date. The Princess of Wallachia is an official monarch with enough style to back up her official status. Since we profiled her in this week's "To be or not to be" Thursday, I thought it good to post her official portraits for 2012.

Her Serene Highness, the Grand Princess Draculesti XII Xenia of Wallachia. The Princess is wearing the Medieval Tiara of Countess Batory, the badge and sash of the Order of the Ublient and is standing next to the Crown of the Grand Princes of Wallachia. Note how the actual Crown corresponds to its heraldic representation in the Royal Crest.

I love a great State Portrait. Hope you do too.

  2. Hello from Spain: I love the scene you created for the royal reception. Have a very nice furniture and varied. Some very nice photos. All dolls are very elegant. Their jewels are ideal. Keep in touch.

  3. Really beautiful dress (amazing detailing) and cape. The tiara is of my favourite style (love all things medieval).
Princess Draculesti - mysterious and exotic in a style of her own - unique!

  4. I'd say the top 5 most stylish Royals are; Empress Crystobel, the Princess of Wallachia, Lady Arcwhite, Queen Gloria and the Queen of Hispania.
